2013 Annual Blog Report

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 22,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 8 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

Love looking at these annual reports! Although I had way fewer views this year than last year (about a third of the views) that’s because last year one of my posts Why I Love/Why I Hate Disney Buying Lucasfilm went viral on Stumbleupon, garnering over 75,000 views.

This year, my post Top 8 Things People Still Get Wrong About The Lost Finale went viral on Reddit, which lead to the blog’s highest number of views in a single day (3,399). I was blown away by that one. I did not share it on Reddit and the article was a few months old when it suddenly started raining views on my blog.

Thanks to all who stopped by and hope you’ll be visiting over the year to come! Appreciate each and every one of you! Happy New Year!
